At the invitation of H.E.Mr. Yuri O. Thamrin, Ambassador of Indonesia, and Chairman of the ASEAN Brussels Committee (ABC), H.E.Mr.  CHEA Thireak, Ambassador of Cambodia to Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, the Netherlands, and Permanent Representative of Cambodia to the European Union, attended the ABC meeting which was held on 25 January 2018, at the Embassy of Indonesia in Brussels.

On that occasion, the meeting adopted the two reports of the ABC meeting which were held on 30 November and on 26 October 2017 under the chairmanship of Cambodia; and also discussed the strategy of strengthening the cooperation between ASEAN and the European Union;  the preparation of the 12th ASEM summit in Brussels which will be held from 18-19 October 2018;  and the  ABC’s proposed activities made by the ASEAN’s Ambassadors in Brussels for the period of January  to June 2018.
