On the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the Comité International de Coordination pour Angkor (CIC Angkor) and  behalf of the Royal Government,  H.E. Dr. CHEM Widhya, Ambassador of Cambodia to France has conferred the medals of Chevalier of the Royal Order of Sahametrei to three former Directors of the Ecole française d'Extrême-Orient (EFEO) Mr. Léon VANDERMEERCH, Mr. Jean-Pierre DREGE and Mr. Francisus VERELLEN for their active contributions to safeguard the cultural heritage of Cambodia in Paris on Monday 25th March 2019.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
