Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will lead a high delegation to attend the “25^th World Economic Forum on ASEAN” to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 01 and 02 June 2016 at the invitations extended by His Excellency Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia, and by Professor Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of World Economic Forum.

After attending the 25^th World Economic Forum on ASEAN, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN will lead a high delegation to pay an official visit to Malaysia on 03 and 04 June 2016 at the invitation of His Excellency Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia, to further enhance and deepen the long-lasting friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries and people.

The delegation will include His Excellency PRAK Sokhonn, Senior Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, His Excellency AUN Pornmoniroth, Senior Minister, Minister of Economy and Finance, His Excellency SUN Chanthol, Senior Minister, Minister of Public Works and Transportation, and other members of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

Given Cambodia’s steady growth over the past decade and its openness to integrating into the global economy, this “25^th World Economic Forum on ASEAN” will provide a good opportunity for Cambodian leader to share experiences and views with other leaders from government, international organization, business and civil society on

how to overcome the current regional challenges in order to achieve inclusive and sustainable growth in the region, especially on how to advance the ASEAN Community.

Therefore, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN will join other important leaders in addressing the Forum under the theme “Shaping the ASEAN Agenda for Inclusion and Growth”, and together with other ASEAN leaders will have discussion with the world trade leaders on the “4^th ASEAN Industrial Revolution”.

During the official visit, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN will hold official talks with His Excellency Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak. After the talks, the two Prime Ministers will preside over the signing ceremony of the following documents:

1-    MOU on Information and Broadcasting Cooperation.

2-    MOU on International Volunteer Program of MYCORPS in Cambodia.

At the end of the official visit, a Joint Statement will be issued.
