On 13 November 2019, His Excellency CHHOUK Bunna, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, accompanied by officials of the Embassy, presented the Letter of Credence to His Excellency U Win Myint, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, at the President Office in Nay Pyi Taw.\r\n\r\nH.E. U Win Myint was pleased to note that Cambodia and Myanmar have enjoyed a friendly relationship over the past decades. He also recalled the many important high-level exchange visits between the leaders of the two countries over the recent years.\r\n\r\nIn response, H.E. CHHOUK Bunna expressed his great honor to be appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. He affirmed his utmost efforts to maintain and promote the existing friendly relationship between Cambodia and Myanmar. He also expressed that the Royal Embassy of Cambodia is keen to work with the Government of Myanmar to come up with joint activities to celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Cambodia and Myanmar in 2020. Taking the opportunity, H.E. Ambassador CHHOUK Bunna also conveyed the warmest greetings and personal best wishes of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah​ Boromneath NORODOM SIHAMONI, King of Cambodia, and Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of Cambodia, to H.E.
