On 16 December 2019, His Excellency HOK Sophea, Ambassador of the Kingdom of​Cambodia to Brunei Darussalam, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Yu Hong, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China at the Embassy of China in Brunei Darussalam. Both sides emphasized the long-lasting traditional relations of friendship between Cambodia and China as witnessed by the exchanges of high level visits. Both side also underlined the importance of mutual respect and support and adhere to the principle of non-interference. It is worth noting that due to excellent relationship, China ranks 1st in development assistance and foreign direct investment in Cambodia. In term of tourism, Chinese tourists are top of the foreign tourists who visit Cambodia.\r\n\r\n
