On 21 May 2020, in Cambodia’s capacity as Chair of the Asia-Pacific Group to the United Nations, H.E. Mr. Ke Sovann, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United Nations, chaired a briefing meeting with the participation of the Right Honorable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, Ambassadors, Permanent Representatives and delegates from 44 countries to discuss Canada’s candidacy for a permanent seat on United Nations Security Council for the term 2021-2022, at the elections scheduled in June and on matters of common interests for collaboration between Canada and the Asia-Pacific Group.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
