Cambodian Ambassador to Myanmar paid a courtesy call on the Union Minister for International Cooperation of Myanmar


On 18 August 2020, H.E. Ambassador CHHOUK Bunna paid a courtesy call on H.E. U Kyaw Tin, Union Minister for International Cooperation of Myanmar, in order to present the letter of H.E. Mr. PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia. The letter carries a message of thanks and appreciations to the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar for the kind gesture in providing humanitarian support and assistance to approximately 100 Cambodian citizens, who were stranded overseas due to COVID-19 pandemic, to return home safely to Cambodia via two relief flights held on 30 June and 31 July, 2020.\r\n\r\nDuring the meeting, both sides also had a candid discussion on the strengthening of Cambodia-Myanmar bilateral cooperation and efforts to implement remaining joint activities to mark the 65th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Diplomatic Relations between Cambodia and Myanmar in 2020.\r\n\r\n
