On the afternoon of 30 March 2022, H.E. Dr. NHIM Khemera, Secretary of State, and the representative of H.E. Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, presided over the opening ceremony of “Cambodia – New Destination for Business, Investment and Tourism” through video conference. This event is organized by the Royal Embassy of Cambodia to Serbia in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, and facilitated by the Economic Diplomacy Coordinating Group.

There were roughly 150 participants and representatives from the Ministry of Tourism, the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC), and private sectors in Cambodia and Serbia. The Forum focuses on 1) Economic Diplomacy Strategy of Cambodia 2) Cambodia’s New Investment Law and Investment Potentials in Cambodia 3) Tourism Promotion, and 4) Business Environment and Opportunities in Cambodia.
