On the afternoon of 15 September 2022, H.E. Dr. CHEM Widhya, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a Courtesy Call by His Excellency Uladzimir Baravikou, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Ministry after His Excellency Ambassador has presented the Letters of Credence to Samdech Vibol Sena Pheakdei SAY Chhum, Acting Head of State of Cambodia. During the discussions, His Excellency Ambassador expressed his congratulations to Cambodia for successfully​ chairing ASEAN in 2022, lending on important contribution to regional and international peace and security. Recalling the fruitful Official Visit of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Belarus on 23-25 April 2014, both sides exchanged views on the potentials for enhanced cooperation to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, including between the two Parliaments and the resumption of Political Consultations​ between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs, and on regional and international issues of common interest and concern.
