On 14 June 2024, His Excellency Dr. UN Kheang, Secretary of State of MFAIC accompanied by leaders of various General Departments of MFAIC, met with a delegation of professors and researchers from the United States led by Mr. Frank Jannuzi, President and CEO of the U.S. based Mansfield Foundation.  

In the meeting, His Excellency Dr. Secretary of State briefed the delegation on key principles of Cambodia’s foreign policy, the future direction of Cambodia’s foreign policy stressing in particular the notions of permanent neutrality, and the support for multilateralism, and rules-based international order.  His Excellency Dr. also exchanged views on issues of common interests for both countries and the world such as democracy, climate change, globalization, decoupling, and the necessity of peace and political stability for other developments.
