On 14 October 2024, H.E. Mr. MEAS Kim Heng, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Cambodia’s SOM Leader for Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS), attended the ACMECS Senior Officials’ Meeting in Vientiane. The meeting was attended by all ACMECS' SOM Leaders of  Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam. 

The meeting reviewed the progress made under the implementation of ACMECS Master Plan (2019-2023) and exchanged views on the future direction of ACMECS Cooperation. The meeting also discussed the preparation for the upcoming 10th ACMECS Summit which will be held back to back with the GMS Summit in November this year.
