On 14 October 2024, H.E. Mr. Meas Kim Heng, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation  and Cambodia’s SOM Leader for Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Viet Nam (CLMV) Cooperation, attended the CLMV Senior Officials’ Meetings (SOM) in Vientiane.

The Meeting reviewed the progress made by the 8 Working Groups over the past years and exchanged views on future directions of the CLMV cooperation, focused on 8 priority areas, namely trade and investment, agriculture, industry, energy, transport, ICT, tourism and HRD. The meeting also discussed the preparation for the upcoming 11th CLMV Summit, which is due to be held back-to-back with the 8th GMS Summit in Kunming in November this year.
