H.E. KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, ASEAN SOM Leader, and Cambodia’s Eminent Person for the High-Level Task Force on ASEAN Community's Post-2025 Vision (HLTF-ACV), led the Cambodian delegation to the 17th Meeting of the HLTF-ACV and the Regional Consultation on Reviewing the ASEAN Community Blueprints 2025 and Charting Directions for 2045 from 29 October to 1 November 2024 in Hoi An, Viet Nam.

In that Meeting, the task force continued to make significant progress in formulating the ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC) Strategic Plan for the ASEAN Community Vision 2045. Additionally, the HLTF-ACV held interface sessions with the Executive Director of the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance (AHA Centre) on disaster management and the Chairman of the Centre for Strategic Studies and International Relations Development (CSSD) to exchange insights on the development of the APSC Strategic Plan.

Following the HLTF-ACV Meeting, the task force also participated in the Regional Consultation on Reviewing the ASEAN Community Blueprints 2025 and Charting Directions for 2045 to draw lessons from the ASEAN Blueprint 2025 in crafting a comprehensive, resilience forward-looking vision for the ASEAN Community over the next two decades.
