On 12 November 2024, the Economic Diplomacy Coordinating Group of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFA.IC) organized a Seminar on "Economic Policy Updates for Cambodian Diplomats". Presided over by H.E. MEAS Kim Heng, Secretary of State, Representative of H.E. SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Seminar drew around 200 participants, in physical and online formats, consisting of MFA.IC leaders, Heads of Cambodian Missions abroad, diplomatic officials and esteemed guest speakers from relevant ministries and institutions.
The main purpose of the Seminar is to share practical information and insights on Cambodia’s current economic-related policies across key sectors of the Royal Government of Cambodia in the 7th Legislature of the National Assembly and to enhance Cambodian diplomatic officials’ efforts in attracting potential foreign partners in the fields of trade, investment, tourism, and culture.
