From 10 to 11 December 2024, H.E. KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, ASEAN SOM Leader, and the Eminent Person for the High-Level Task Force on ASEAN Community's Post-2025 Vision (HLTF-ACV), led the delegations to attend the 19th Meeting of the HLTF-ACV in Vientiane, Lao PDR. The Meeting further deliberated and achieved significant milestone in finalizing the ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC) Strategic Plan for the ASEAN Community Vision 2045.

To ensure alignment and synergy of all strategic plans across ASEAN Community, the HLTF-ACV engaged in productive interface with the Chair of the High-Level Task Force on ASEAN Economic Integration (HLTF-EI), Co-Chairs of Ad Hoc Working Group on the Development of ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) Post-2025 Strategic Plan, and current and incoming Chair of ASEAN Connectivity Coordinating Committee (ACCC) to exchange updates on the progress of their respective strategic plans. In addition, the HLTF-ACV also held interface with ASEAN Youth Organization to exchange views on how youth could contribute to shaping ASEAN's future.
