On the afternoon of 10 January 2025, H.E. Dr. KHY Sovanratana, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, welcomed 25 alumni of the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) from ASEAN countries during their participation in the YSEALI Alumni Summit in Phnom Penh, hosted by the U.S. Embassy.

His Excellency Secretary of State briefed the YSEALI alumni on the vision and mission of the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations (NIDIR), highlighting its role in strengthening the capacity of the Cambodian diplomats. He also emphasized the importance of diplomatic academies in fostering cooperation among ASEAN Member States and dialogue partners by enhancing practical collaboration between diplomatic institutions to produce dynamic and qualified.
