On 10 February 2025, His Excellency Ambassador UK Sarun had a discussion with His Excellency Ambassador Tamer El- Miligy, Assistant Minister for Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, at the Ministry. 
The discussion focused mainly on the request to expedite the review of the draft Agreement on Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic and Service Passports between the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt in order to reach an early signing, and also examining the possibility of Cambodian citizens to apply for the entry visas to Egypt upon arrival at the airport.
