On the afternoon of  19 February2025, His Excellency KHUON Phon Rattanak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, presided over the appointment ceremony of Neak Oknha SUO Vireak as the Honorary Consul of the State of Israel to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh.

On that occasion, His Excellency  Secretary of State congratulated Neak Oknha SUO Vireak and encouraged him to make efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries as well as to facilitate investment and cooperation that benefits both countries, with a particular focus on promoting tourism cooperation.

The establishment of the Honorary Consulate of Israel in the Kingdom of Cambodia reflects a significant milestone in Cambodia’s diplomatic affairs, particularly in enhancing bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the State of Israel.
