On the afternoon of 8 May 2025, H.E. Heng Sarith, Ambassador/Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Cambodia to ASEAN, attended the 13th Meeting of ASEAN-New Zealand Joint Cooperation Committee (ANJCC) at the ASEAN Secretariat. The Meeting discussed issues pertaining to the current progress on the implementation of the current Plan of Action (2021-2025) and future directions of cooperation. ASEAN and New Zealand also reaffirmed commitment to strengthening their partnership and deepening cooperation. In the Meeting, H.E. Heng Sarith affirmed the importance of continued ASEAN-New Zealand cooperation on the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP) and other areas such as cybersecurity, countering transnational crimes, and disaster management.
