On the morning of 30 May 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, had a meeting with His Excellency Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, on the sidelines of the 30th Nikkei Forum in Tokyo, Japan. 

During the Meeting, the two Foreign Ministers discussed the border clash on 28 May 2025, based on the spirit of friendly relations, cooperation and good neighborliness.
