On the morning of 8 October 2025, at the Ministry, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and His Excellency UENO Atsushi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Cambodia, signed the Exchange of Notes and accompanying documents on the extension of the Government of Japan’s Yen Loan under official development assistance for two projects, amounting to JPY 44,437,000,000 (Approximately USD 296.2 million)
