On the morning of 4 November 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a meeting with His Excellency Michael George DeSombre, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, at the Ministry.

During the meeting, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister expressed his sincere gratitude to the President Donald J. Trump for his crucial role in securing the Peace Agreement between Cambodia and Thailand and reiterated Cambodia's unwavering commitment to this Peace Agreement.

Both sides also deliberated on deepening bilateral ties by expanding the field of cooperation such as trade, investment, defense, and combating transnational crimes.
