On 4 March 2021, H.E. Mr. Meas Kim Heng, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Turkey and Chairman of ASEAN Ankara Committee, received a courtesy call from Ms. K. Nilvana Damara, Coordinating Ambassador in charge of the Asia Anew Initiative (AAI) of the Foreign Ministry of Turkey.  Both sides exchanged views on the importance the Asia Anew Initiative, especially in the ASEAN region.
