In the afternoon of 25 August 2021, H.E. Ambassador Hok Sophea participated in closing session of the 42nd ASEAN Inter Parliamentary General Assembly chaired by Brunei. The meeting was held under the theme " FORGING PARLIAMENTARY COOPERATION IN DIGITAL INCLUSION TOWARDS ASEAN COMMUNITY 2025" from 23 to 25 August. In that auspicious occasion, on behalf of Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly of Cambodia, receives from H.E. Pehin Dato Awang Haji Abdul Rahman, Speaker of the Legislative Council of Brunei and chair of the 42nd AIPA, the Instrument of Transfer and Gavel for Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin who will chair the 43rd AIPA on 12-16 September 2022 in Cambodia. H.E. Hok Sophea, also on behalf of H.E. Post.Dr. Kittisethabindit Cheam Yeap, receives the AIPA Distinguished Service Award for H.E. Kittisethabandit Cheam Yeap.
