On Thursday morning (February 03.), Cambodian Ambassador to Thailand H.E. OUK Sorphorn received a courtesy call from a delegation of Kaset Thai International Sugar Corporation PCL aka (KTIS Group) led by its CEO Mr. Parphan Siriviriyakul to discuss the Economic Diplomacy and exchange new year wishes for 2022.

During the conversations, important topics including a whisky distillery project in Cambodia for export to international markets in line with the Thai Plus-One strategy, New Law on Investment and guarantee terms and benefits of Free Trade Agreements between Cambodia and her trading partners (CCFTA, CKFTA and RCEP) were discussed, as well as the potential to further diversify Cambodia’s exports back to Thailand in order to boost bilateral trade and economic cooperation between the two Kingdoms.
