On 26 May 2022, His Excellency Mr. NEY Samol, Director-General, General Department of Europe, America, and Africa-Middle East, and His Excellency Mr. Athanasios IOANNOU, Head of A9 Department for Asia and Oceania of Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, co-chaired the First Bilateral Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic. Through this dialogue, Cambodia-Greece will be able to identify mutually beneficial spheres of collaboration; exchange of high-level visit, building of political trust, people-to-people exchanges and expand practical cooperation especially in the fields of trade, tourism, cultural and education,etc. On the sidelines of the meeting, H.E. Mr. NEY Samol, had courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Kostas Fragogiannis, Deputy Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Openness of Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic. Both sides discussed the potentials for cooperation to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and also exchanged views on the key deliverables during the Cambodia’s ASEAN chairmanship, and on regional and international issues as well.
