On 25 July 2022, H.E. Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, had received H.E. Mrs. Folakemi Ibidunni Akinleye, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the  Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Kingdom of Cambodia with Residence in Manila, for a Courtesy Call upon presentation of his letters of Credence to His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath NORODOM SIHAMONI, King of Cambodia, to discuss ways and means to further enhance the relations between Cambodia and Nigeria, which established diplomatic relations immediately after the national independence of Angola in November 1975, at bilateral, regional and international levels.
