On the morning of July 5, 2022, His Excellency KEO Chhea, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the United States, received a courtesy call by Mr. Thet Win, new Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the United States.​ During the courtesy call, H.E. Ambassador​ highlighted the outcomes of the second visit of His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn to Myanmar, in his capacity as the Special Envoy of the ASEAN Chair 2022.  H.E. Ambassador also underlined Cambodia’s efforts, as the​ current ASEAN Chair, to maintain ASEAN’s centrality and unity, and to resolve Myanmar crisis. Mr. Thet Win appreciated Cambodia’s efforts in resolving Myanmar crisis and pledged to work closely with the ASEAN Committee in Washington to address the challenges.
