On the morning of August 22, 2022, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with the Embassy  of Malaysia to Cambodia organized a friendly futsal match between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Embassy  of Malaysia to Cambodia to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries  (31 August 1957-31 August 2022).  The match was presided over by His Excellency Ngoun Sokveng, Director General of the General Department of Asia-Pacific, MFAIC  and Mr. Khairul Gadafi Kamaludin, Minister Counsellor/Deputy Chief of Mission of Malaysian Embassy in Phnom Penh.
