On the afternoon of 05 October 2022, His Excellency SAN Chanrithy, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, had a meeting with Mr. TANINAI Ichitomo, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Japan to Cambodia, at the Ministry. 
H.E. SAN Chanrithy stressed on the long-term friendship and fruitful cooperation between Cambodia and Japan, and as Strategic Partner in multiple aspects including diplomacy, trade, investment, education, and culture. The harmonious cooperation paved ways for confidence-building, connectivity enhancement, leading up to a potential upgrade in bilateral relations to comprehensive strategic partnership, which would eventually bolster investment, trade and tourism for mutual benefit.
