​Phnom Penh, 12 October 2022​, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, chaired the 2nd ASEAN Women Leaders’ Summit, under the theme “Building a More Sustainable, Inclusive and Resilience Future: Unlocking Women’s Entrepreneurship in ASEAN” with the attendances from ASEAN Leaders, Dialogue Partners and Women Leaders of ASEAN Member States and Dialogues Partners via videoconference. ASEAN Leaders rendered their support to the Declaration on Building aMore Sustainable, Inclusive and Resilient Future: Unlocking Women’s Entrepreneurship in ASEAN. This Declaration will be submitted to the upcoming 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits for adoption.

Samdech Techo Prime Minister raised that more efforts are required to unlock the potentials of women entrepreneurs and to create the enabling ecosystem for the optimal growth of women’s entrepreneurship in ASEAN. Women are at the heart of families and communities and “if women are strong, so our ASEAN family and community become stronger.”
