On 24 October 2022, His Excellency Mr. Ouch Borith, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister and Standing Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a Courtesy Call by His Excellency Mr. Nicu NITĂ, President of the Romanian-Cambodian Parliamentary Friendship Group during his Official Visit to Cambodia.

His Excellency Mr. Ouch Borith expressed his satisfaction on the development of friendly relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Romania evidenced through the exchange visits, both​ of government dignitaries and in private sectors​ in the last few years. His Excellency Mr. Ouch Borith hoped that the visit of His Excellency Mr. Nicu NITĂ, which also included the Romanian business delegation, will further promote the bilateral relations between the two countries to a greater height both in political and economic spheres in the coming years.

His Excellency Mr. Nicu NITĂ praised Cambodia for its economic development and the growth of infrastructure and cities and expressed his congratulations to Cambodia for successfully chairing the 55th AMM and related meetings and wished Cambodia greater success in hosting the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits and Related Summits, in November 2022.
