On the afternoon of 09 May 2023, Her Excellency Dr. SOEUNG Rathchavy, Secretary of State, and high representative of His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received a farewell call by His Excellency Ganesh Prasad Dhakal, outgoing Ambassador of Nepal to Cambodia with residence in Bangkok, at the Ministry. 

Her Excellency Dr. SOEUNG Rathchavy thanked His Excellency Ambassador for his efforts in strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Nepal during his tenure. His Excellency Ambassador Dhakal expressed high appreciation to the leaders and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for their kind support and close collaboration extended to him and the Embassy of Nepal.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the development of bilateral relations and agreed to explore the possibility to hold the First Bilateral Consultations between the two Foreign Ministries in 2023 to further enhance and expand bilateral cooperation in many areas for the mutual benefits of the two peoples.  

In conclusion, Her Excellency Dr. SOEUNG Rathchavy wished His Excellency Ambassador Dhakal continued success in fulfilling his new assignment and expressed that the leaders and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will render full support to the new Ambassador of Nepal to Cambodia.
