On the morning of 01 June 2023, His Excellency Dr. NHIM Khemara, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Head of the Economic Diplomacy Coordinating Group (EDCG), received a courtesy call by the MERCOSUR ASEAN Chamber of Commerce (MACC) and the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC), led by Mr. Rodolfo Caffaro Kramer, Global President of MACC.

During the courtesy call, H.E. Dr. NHIM Khemara highlighted the potential opportunities for economic cooperation between countries in ASEAN and the Southern Common Market (ASEAN-MERCOSUR), in particular the Cambodia-Argentina bilateral relation. Taking this opportunity, H.E. OUK Sorphorn, Under Secretary of State, underlined the Economic Diplomacy Strategy (EDS) 2021-2023 and its achievements as well as opportunities in investment, trade, and tourism in Cambodia. H.E. Dr. NHIM Khemara expressed his appreciation to the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC) and its partners for their close collaboration with the EDCG to raise national prestige on the international stage.
