On the morning of 03 July 2023, H.E. Mr. SOK Soken, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Cambodia’s Alternate SOM Leader for Mekong Cooperation, attended an informal Mekong Senior Officials’ Meeting, which was hosted by Lao PDR via videoconference and attended by Mekong SOM Leaders from five Mekong countries including Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam.

The meeting discussed preparations for the upcoming 12th Mekong-Ganga Cooperation Foreign Ministers' Meeting and exchanged views on issues of common concern in the Mekong sub-region.
