In the morning of 19 July 2023, at 10:00 , His Excellency Dr. Chem Widhya, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a farewell call by His Excellency Jon Gorm Åström Gröndahl, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Kingdom of Cambodia, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic tenure in the Kingdom.

His Excellency Dr. Chem Widhya briefed about the upcoming General Election on 23rd July 2023 as well as about the business opportunity in Cambodia. Both sides agreed to resume exchange of visits, including between the two Foreign Ministries.They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest and concern.
