On the Morning of 3 August 2023, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, attended the East Asia Summit Senior Officials' Meeting (EAS SOM) Plenary and Retreat Session in Bali, Indonesia, to discuss the EAS coordination with other ASEAN-led mechanisms and preparation of the ASEAN-Indo-Pacific Forum: Implement of the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP). The Meetings also exchanged of views on the regional and international issues and the preparation for the 18th East Asia Summit, to be held in September 2023 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
