On the morning of 08 August 2023, His Excellency PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, presided over the ASEAN Flag Raising Ceremony to celebrate the 56th anniversary of ASEAN's founding, at the Ministry.

The event was also attended by the Heads of the Foreign Diplomatic Missions in Phnom Penh and the National Representatives for the ASEAN Community Councils.
