On August 17, 2023 – His Excellency Mr. Tuy Ry, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Japan, warmly received a group of five accomplished individuals who won in the Khmer Speech Contest 2023. The winners, who had recently concluded a remarkable journey to Cambodia, were welcomed by the Ambassador at the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Japan.

During their visit to Cambodia, the winners had the privilege of experiencing the nation's rich history and vibrant heritage. They conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to Ambassador for organizing this event, enabling them to not only enhance their Khmer language proficiency but also win in the contest.

The participants recounted their captivating journey through Cambodia, highlighting their stays at prestigious hotels complemented by well-experienced tour guides. Their explorations spanned prominent historical sites in both Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, revealing a tapestry of cultural insights and personal discoveries.

On April 29, 2023, the Embassy hosted the Khmer Speech Contest, providing an avenue for Japanese participants to showcase their linguistic skills and cultural affinity. The top 5 winners won the trip to Cambodia for 5 days.
