On 4 September 2023, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister SOK Chenda Sophea, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met with Her Excellency Ana Cecilia Gervasi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Peru, in Jakarta. The discussions focused on exploring avenues for strengthening bilateral cooperation, and regional collaboration. The Ministers also signed the MoU on the Establishment of a Bilateral Consultation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Peru.
