On 28 October 2023, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia met with His Excellency NONG Rong, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, in Yunnan, People’s Republic of China. During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on further promoting cooperation between ASEAN and China, particularly on trade and investment as well as people-to-people connectivity.
