On 8 November 2023, His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, led the Ministry’s management to lay wreathes at the Independence Monument and pay tribute to the Late King Father, His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah NORODOM SIHANOUK “Preah Borom Ratanak Kaudh”, at the Royal Memorial Statue, on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of National Independence Day (9 November 1953 - 9 November 2023).
