On 11 December 2023, as assigned by His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, His Excellency TY Nitor, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call by a delegation of Junior Chamber International of Cambodia (JCI) representatives from Asia Pacific countries, led by Mr. LY Oudam, President of JCI Cambodia 2024.

They engaged in constructive dialogue regarding the importance of economic diplomacy and to enhance cooperation between the Economic Diplomacy Coordinating Group and JCI to promote investment, trade, tourism, and cultural exchanges.

The Undersecretary of State expressed his firm support to JCI for hosting the 2024 JCI ASPAC Angkor, to be held in Siem Reap. In line with the Royal Government of Cambodia’s newly incepted “Visit Siem Reap 2024” campaign, introduced under the guidance of Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister HUN Manet, this event will serve as a valuable opportunity to showcase Cambodia's favorable economic climate to the world, highlighting its rich cultural assets and position as a key destination for foreign investment in the region.
