On 16 February 2024, Her Excellency KHIEV Sophany, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a meeting with Mr. TANINAI Ichitomo, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Japan to Cambodia, at the Ministry.

Both sides discussed and exchanged views on further improving ways and means of implementing procedures on banking documents, such as Banking Arrangement (B/A) and Authorization to Pay (A/P), for Grant Projects in Cambodia provided by the Government of Japan, with the aim of receiving grant aid more swiftly, easily and smoothly. The meeting was also attended by representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the National Bank of Cambodia.
