On February 29, 2024, during a ceremony held at the Palais Élysée, His Excellency Mr. LUY David presented his credentials to His Excellency Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the Republic of France, thus accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to France. During this meeting, His Excellency the Ambassador had a brief exchange with President Macron, in which they congratulated each other on the progress made by Cambodia and France in their cooperation, now elevated to the level of "strategic partnership." The Ambassador also expressed his gratitude for the welcome of high-level visits over a period of thirteen months, including the working visit in December 2022 of Samdech Techo HUN Sen, former Prime Minister and current President of the Supreme Privy Council of the King, the official visit in November 2023 of His Majesty NORODOM Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, and the official visit in January 2024 of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister.
