On 15 March 2024, Her Excellency KHIEV Sophany, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, chaired an internal meeting with Under-Secretaries of State and Directors General to discuss the formulation of the Economic Diplomacy Strategy 2024-2028. 

The meeting yielded fruitful outcomes, with all the participants providing valuable and insightful comments and suggestions to improve the key sections of the draft strategy including the overview, goals and objectives, challenges, strategies, and action plan. These valuable inputs would make substantial contributions to the improvement of the quality of the Economic Diplomacy strategy that will best guide Cambodian diplomats on how to advance and maximize Cambodia’s economic interests on the international arena.
