On 27 May 2024, on the occasion of his Official Visit to the Republic of Türkiye, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister SOK Chenda Sophea, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and His Excellency Mustafa TUZCU, Deputy Minister of Trade of Türkiye, jointly addressed the Cambodia-Türkiye Business Luncheon, which was attended by over 30 company Representatives.  The Deputy Prime Minister encouraged Türkiye companies to seek investment opportunities in Cambodia in potential fields, such as tourism, agriculture, agro-processing, logistics, hotel management and construction, and to choose Cambodia as a gateway to expand their investment in Southeast Asia - a vast market under the framework of the existing ASEAN Free Trade Area and Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).
