On 07 June 2024, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, attended the East Asia Summit Senior Officials’ Meeting (EAS SOM) in Vientiane, Lao PDR.

The Meeting discussed important agenda including Progress Report of the Implementation of the EAS Plan of Action (2024-2028) and exchanged of views on Regional and International Developments. The Meeting further discussed preparations for the 14th EAS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting which is scheduled to be held on July 2024 and for the 19th East Asia Summit to be held in October 2024.
