On 07 June 2024, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, had a courtesy meeting with Her Excellency Michelle Chan, Deputy Secretary, Australia's ASEAN, EAS and ARF Senior Official, on the sidelines of the ASEAN SOM and Related Meetings. Both sides deliberated on mutually beneficial cooperation and exchanged views on priorities ahead of the East Asia Summit Senior Officials' Meetings (EAS SOM) and ASEAN Regional Forum Senior Officials' Meetings (ARF SOM).
