H.E. Tuy Ry, Cambodian Ambassador, and H.E. Atul Khare, Under-Secretary-General for Operational Support, discussed the ongoing cooperation between Cambodia and the United Nations during a meeting held at the Cambodian Embassy on 19 July 2024.

H.E. Ambassador and H.E USG shared satisfaction with progress in relations and good cooperation in various areas, between Cambodia and the UN, including peacekeeping operations and humanitarian activities under the UN framework.

Both sides also exchanged views to further strengthening cooperation in future. H.E USG thanked and commended Cambodia for preparing to host the “UN Triangular Partnership Program (TPP) Peacekeeping” in November 2024 in Kampong Speu province as part of the UN-ROK-Cambodia project, and “UN-Japan-Cambodia Triangular Partnership” to be convened in 2025.

H.E. the Ambassador wished H.E. USG and the UN delegation for a successful and fruitful visit to Cambodia from 22 to 23 July 2024.
